Delete your account & data

You're always in control of your family's data. Here's exactly what deleting your account does, and two ways to do it.

What gets deleted

Deleting your Prickly Jar App account permanently removes, immediately and in full:

  • Your parent account and sign-in credentials
  • Every child profile linked to your family, including names and avatars
  • All token activity history (earning, redemptions, adjustments) for every child
  • Any custom rewards, behaviors, or settings you've configured
  • Your family's partner-sync connection, if you had a co-parent linked
This can't be undone. Deletion is immediate and permanent — there's no grace period, no recovery window, and no way for us to restore your data afterward, even if you ask us to. If you're not sure yet, consider waiting rather than deleting.

Option 1 — delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open Prickly Jar App and sign in
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Account Management
  4. Tap Delete Account & All Data
  5. Confirm when prompted

Your account and all associated data are removed immediately — no waiting period.

Option 2 — email us

If you can't access the app (lost your device, can't sign in, etc.), email us from the address associated with your account and we'll process the deletion manually. Please include the email address your account uses so we can confirm it's really you.

We aim to complete manual deletion requests within a few business days and will confirm by email once it's done.
